Hello, everyone!
So much has happened in so little time
this past year.
I travelled to England by myself,
started college, and now I’m getting a novella published! I cannot express how
ecstatic I am about this. ^_^ Rooglewood Press has been so kind in giving me
this opportunity and sending me off on my career.
Around three years ago, I submitted the
piece to a fairy tale retelling contest, but when they told me it didn’t quite
fit the theme, I promptly forgot the work and began focusing on other writing
projects. However, a few weeks ago, I received an email with an offer to
publish my story! :D I quickly said yes, the paperwork was done, and the
announcement was made! Check out the beautiful cover and summary that
Rooglewood Press designed for my story, the Spinner and the Slipper:

Can you tell I’m a little excited? Yes?
Moving on.
The story is a combination between
Cinderella and Rumpelstiltskin, with dashes of other stories thrown in for
extra flavor. ;) It’s projected to come out this summer, though that’s subject
to change. I hope everyone will enjoy it and continue to follow my stories in
the future. I keeping thanking the Lord for this wonderful opportunity so early
in my life.

Yesterday, I found the Spinner and the Slipper on Amazon and LOVED it. That's the first time I've read a fairy tale variation where it combined two fairy tales and that was really fun because it kept me guessing. I read the whole thing in one sitting because I was enjoying it so much and didn't want to put it down. Thank you for this wonderful book.
ReplyDeleteChrissy,
DeleteThank you so much! It means so much to me that you love it. :D I've always left reviews like this about stories I love; it's crazy to have someone say this about my story. You're awesome! ^_^
